Flint Thompson's "My Time With You" is hands down our most requested song for the past 4 months. This means that every release from Garth to Reba to George to Leann ...has not garnered the overwhelming response we have to Flint's single, "My Time With You".
When Flint walked in off the street and asked me to listen to his song, I thought I would do him the professional courtesy of listening to the song, and then tell him that his singing career needed work and send him on his way. I listened to the song 3 times and realized there was something special about the song.
We played the song on the air and got immediate positive response. At first, I thought friends and relatives were jamming the phones, but over the weeks, we had positive calls from Tyler, Teas to North of Houseon. The song has been requested for weddings, funerals, birthdays, and revivals.
The best example of Flint's hold on East Texas is a free concert that was staged at a downtown parking lot. Nearly 2,000 people overflowed the area t listen to this rising star.
I would highly encourage any station to play Flint Thompson's "My Time With You".

The Angelina County D.A.R.E. program held its second annual benefit concert on September 6, 1997 which featured Jeff Carson with talents Flint Thompson of Lufkin, Texas and Brooke Adams of Fort Worth, Texas as the opening acts.
We would like to commend these acts nt only for their talents but the contributins they made in performing for the benefit.
We would like to especially single out Flint Thompson who volunteered his services and went way beyond what was expected to make the show a success.
Flint's following was well represented and he did not let anyone down, as he kept them entertained from start to finish. His popular song "My Time With You" got everybody going.
Flint is an extremely talented young man not only with his voice but in dealing with expecations of music entertainers.
Whatever music company decides to invest in this talent will not be dissapointed. They will be investing in someone who cares not only for the music but the people who support the entertainers, The Fans.
